Digital Chat Station, who said the lineup would come with a regular telephoto lens instead. Now tipster Max Jambor has corroborated this point, claiming that neither the Vanilla OnePlus 9 variant nor the Pro variant will feature a periscope module.

As OnePlus lets periscope technology pass over to the OnePlus 9 series, we hope to see the lineup made even more significant with camera improvements as OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said the company will focus its R&D efforts to improve cameras from his smartphones.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are rumored to arrive in March with Snapdragon 888 SoC and 120Hz displays. These will be joined by a Lite variant, which would come with a Snapdragon 865 at the helm.
