The entire area around factory Z153, Dong Anh, Hanoi, will be quarantined

Representative of Commune of People in Dong Anh, Hanoi, said that the entire area around factory Z153 will be quarantined from now.

Earlier tonight, Committee of COVID-19 protection and restriction said that Dong Anh, Hanoi, will have to follow the social distancing obligation. An area around factory Z153 will be quarantined, and more than 2.000 inhabitants around that zone are suggested to take the COVID-19 test.

Under an investigation, Commune of People in Dong Anh, Hanoi, declared that the patient number 1695 is a worker at factory Z153. This factory has about 400 workers, and all of them will follow the mandatory test for coronavirus. So far, about 72 people have been sent to quarantined center. The other will wait for the final result of coronavirus test.

About more than 2.000 inhabitants living around that factory, representative of Commune of People in Dong Anh recommended a medical examination for all of them. Bac Thanh Long hospital will be responsible for this medical test and they will be the treatment field for all coronavirus cases in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

Students in the region of factory Z153 will have an earlier Tet holiday. They will stay at home in order to tackle the pandemic more sufficiently.

The reality of this pandemic put Hanoi in situation that if we are not aggressive, quick, and wise, mistake will happen and create a huge chaos.

Hanoi is not the only northern province of Vietnam that has to tackle COVID-19. Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, and Quang Ninh are also following quarantine obligation after recording a huge number of new coronavirus cases.

Government of Hanoi wishes their citizens not to gather in crowded places and postpone their celebration plans in order to ease down the transmission of COVID-19.
