Some people claimed that Tesla Model 3 is more in-demand than the Model Y since it is cheaper and quite practical to purchase for daily travel and other road activities. However, Tesla Model Y’s new feature could change this situation.
NRS Brakes, a partner company of Elon Musk’s giant electric car manufacturer, claimed that it was able to expand its line of premium brakes for the fully electric Tesla EV.
On the other hand, the company added that since its new galvanized brake pads are designed exclusively for electric vehicles, they could offer better versatility, efficiency, and reliability compared to other brake pad providers.

According to Auto Service’s latest report, the new brake pads of the current Tesla Model Y could be cleaner and greener than the ones used by other giant automakers.

NRS Brakes explained that what makes them different is their lack of copper or lead. Most of the brake pads used in different cars, including electric vehicles, contain some lead or copper, making them a little bit rusty.
But, NRS Brakes was able to fix this issue after it created its new brake pads with sustainability. With a longer lifespan than any competing aftermarket brake pad, NRS Brakes matches the high safety standards of Elon Musk’s Tesla Model Y.
Other Tesla Model Y Improvements
Aside from the new brake pads from NRS Brakes, the giant EV maker is also working on the so-called spring structure tech. Inside EVs reported that this innovation is a permanent part of the company’s manufacturing efforts.
Additionally, Tesla confirmed that it already filed its spring structure with the City of Fremont. The company also claimed that this new tool could make Tesla Model Y more efficient.
