Tesla Cybertruck is currently being tested and improved by Elon Musk’s giant EV manufacturer. However, some automakers are trying to compete with it, such as Ford, which previously released its Ford F-150 Lightning, another electric truck.
Because of this, some consumers are having a hard time choosing between the two since both of them offer great features, and other capabilities that can provide a great electric truck experience.

Price
When it comes to price, the latest Ford F-150 Lightning is cheaper than the upgraded Tesla Cybertruck. This electric truck costs $39,974, which is $10,000 cheaper than Telsa’s electric truck.

Cybertruck is currently priced at around $49,000.
On the other hand, the extended-range F-150 Lightning electric truck will cost more, which is estimated at around $50,000. However, this is still speculation since Ford hasn’t revealed the actual price of its higher-tier F-150 Lightning.
Meanwhile, the top-tier Tesla Cybertruck is expected to cost around $69,900. This expensive price tag is still reasonable since this version will have extra hardware and features.
Battery
According to Toms Guide’s latest report, the Tesla Cybertruck has the upper hand when it comes to charging since it can handle the 250-kW charging speeds.
Meanwhile, the new Ford F-150 Lightning’s charging speeds can only handle up to 150 kW. This means that it can go from 15% to 80% in just 45 minutes.
Autonomous Driving
If you want to buy Tesla Cybertruck, you can purchase it with the FDS Autopilot, which will be an add-on. It allows your electric truck to drive for you on the highway.

Ford F-150 Lightning offers the new BlueCruise, which also controls the steering and acceleration. This could be more efficient compared to Tesla Cybetruck’s FSD since it allows you to move your hands away from the steering wheel.
Design
When it comes to design, Ford F-150 Lightning has the usual physical structure of many pickup trucks. This is quite good since the appearance really looks luxurious.
On the other hand, Tesla Cybertruck has an unusual design, which has many pointy edges. Although it looks weird, Elon Musk’s popular electric truck is very durable, especially when it comes to preventing gunshots.

Since Tesla Cybertruck and Ford F-150 Lightning both have great features, Elon Musk wants to make it even better. The Verge previously reported that the popular Cybertruck could receive a new solar bed cover, an armored glass, and other advanced capabilities.
