SOPHIE died at the age of 34 after suffering from such a tremendously horrible accident. On Saturday morning, the musician’s record label Transgressive confirmed that Sophie Xeon, known as SOPHIE, got in a bad accident and could not make it.
Tragically our beautiful Sophie passed away this morning after a terrible accident. True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and slipped and fell.
A statement said.
SOPHIE died at home, in Athens, Greece’s Capital, at 4 a.m. local time.
The late artist was born in Glasgow and had a successful collaboration with Madonna in 2015, produced a single “Bitch, I’m Madonna.” She also accompanied with Charli XCX on the EP Vroom Vroom. Her debut album was “Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides”, 2018, which later on earned her a Grammy nomination. SOPHIE was described as a pioneer of new style of music and was the leader of new trend.
SOPHIE was a pioneer of a new sound, one of the most influential artists in the last decade. Not only for ingenious production and creativity but also for the message and visibility that was achieved. An icon of liberation.

As a trans, SOPHIE said that she was proud of her identity. And it is honestly so sad for observing the fact that SOPHIE died at the age of 34.
On this earth, it’s that you can get closer to how you feel your true essence is without the societal pressures of having to fulfill certain traditional roles based on gender. It means you’re not a mother or a father — you’re an individual who’s looking at the world and feeling the world. And it’s somehow more human and universal, I feel.
