Together, these steps reinforce Sigenergy’s commitment to advancing AI-driven energy innovation, smart manufacturing and full-scenario energy solutions worldwide.
“AI in Everything: Bringing Intelligence to the Entire Energy Ecosystem
Sigenergy’s “AI in All” strategy positions artificial intelligence as a critical capability embedded in products, software, manufacturing and energy management systems, transforming energy systems from simple operation to intelligent, collaborative and continually optimized.
“Sigenergy is committed to leading the global energy transition through AI-driven innovation,” said Tony Xu, Founder and CEO of Sigenergy. “Our goal is to leverage AI to create smarter, more adaptive energy systems that set the standard for the industry.
As renewable energy and storage reshape the global energy landscape, the industry is moving from hardware-driven competition to integrated systems defined by user experience. In this context, Sigenergy integrates AI as a fundamental layer of its technological platform. At the product level, AI supports energy management, operational optimization and dispatch control; through the software, it improves the configuration, monitoring and execution of the strategy; and at the system level, it connects distributed devices and applications, enabling coordinated and intelligent operations in residential, commercial and utility scenarios.
With the “AI in All” strategy, Sigenergy translates AI innovation into tangible product capabilities and system intelligence, accelerating the development of smarter, more adaptive energy infrastructure around the world.
Nantong Smart Energy Center: a new benchmark for smart manufacturing
The new Sigenergy Nantong Smart Energy Center supports the global deployment of the “AI in All” strategy. Covering 136,000 square meters with an investment of 500 million RMB (≈$70 million), the facility has an annual production capacity of more than 300,000 inverters and batteries. More than a factory, it serves as an integrated platform combining advanced R&D, smart manufacturing, global delivery and energy management.
At the heart of Sigenergy’s manufacturing network, the Nantong Smart Energy Center has a fully integrated digital platform that allows operators to monitor production in real time and coordinate processes across the facility. Unlike conventional factories that rely on isolated automation, manufacturing execution systems (MES), warehouse management systems (WMS) and energy management systems (EMS) are interconnected, allowing material shipping, equipment configuration and production adjustments to be automatically synchronized.
Sigenergy maintains industry-leading precision across all key manufacturing processes. Automated soldering with charge-coupled device (CCD) visual inspection achieves a 99.9% yield rate, surface mount technology (SMT) lines process components at 0.043 seconds per unit with an accuracy of 20 to 30 microns, and dual in-line package (DIP) assembly times are reduced by 50% through automation and Lean practices. AI-based quality inspections replace manual sampling, while Sigenergy’s three-dimensional intelligent logistics system integrates the movement of aerial and crushed materials for optimized efficiency.
This combination of advanced equipment and intelligent systems delivers peak throughput, producing a battery pack every 15 seconds and a power inverter every 21 seconds. The launch of the Nantong Smart Energy Center ensures that Sigenergy’s original designs are delivered at scale with uncompromising quality, setting a benchmark for accuracy, consistency and long-term reliability.
Expanding Full Scenario Solutions with the Launch of Three New Products
Sigenergy also unveiled several new products designed to further strengthen its comprehensive energy portfolio, spanning residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications.
- Residential: SigenStor Neo
For the residential market, the company launched SigenStor Neo, a new home energy system. Building on Sigenergy’s modular architecture and circular light ring design, the system combines a photovoltaic inverter, battery PCS, energy management system, gateway and battery pack into a single platform.
Designed for the changing needs of modern households, SigenStor Neo offers enhanced system integration, improved coordination between components and broader compatibility between different home energy scenarios, providing users with a smarter, streamlined and user-friendly energy experience. - C&I photovoltaic inverter
For commercial and industrial applications, Sigenergy has launched a 166 kW photovoltaic inverter, designed to provide higher power density and improved system efficiency through advanced power electronics technology. The solution provides enterprise customers with more efficient and reliable integration of solar and storage. - Utility Inverter
In the utility segment, Sigenergy introduced a new inverter aimed at large-scale solar power plants. With a high power density architecture, it delivers up to 500 kW output power, supports 1650 V DC input and 1000 V AC systems, helping to reduce system costs while improving overall power generation efficiency.
The inverter includes up to 18 MPPTs, each supporting two strings with increased current capacity, enabling higher energy efficiencies in complex terrains. Advanced arc fault circuit interruption (AFCI) technology with detection up to 500 meters, combined with multiple protection mechanisms, improves operational safety.
For operation and maintenance, the inverter offers MPPT-level fault detection and intelligent diagnostics, as well as remote monitoring, intelligent inspection and data analysis, helping operators optimize performance and reduce costs. AI capabilities further improve ultra-short-term and short-term power generation forecasts by integrating data on equipment, locations and weather conditions, enabling smarter dispatch planning and revenue optimization.
Through this expanded product portfolio, Sigenergy is building a comprehensive energy technology platform spanning residential systems, commercial energy infrastructure and utility-scale power plants.
