A controversial new rumor has been shared by a generally reliable tipster Ice universe this upcoming Samsung watch will replace Tizen with Android. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Samsung using Android Wear OS instead of Tizen – Evan Blass reported that Samsung employees were using Wear OS watches in 2018.
But every watch that has come from Samsung since has been powered by Tizen, and the consensus has been that they are better than their Android counterparts. So we seriously doubt that Samsung is working on replacing its successful Tizen operating system for Wear OS.

Maybe Samsung is just looking to branch out and offer a Wear OS-powered smartwatch alongside its Galaxy Watch3 line of Tizen wearable devices.
The last Samsung smartwatch running Android was the Gear Live in 2014. A clear device for the early days of smartwatches.
