Just over a month after its first unveiling, the Samsung Galaxy M12 will go on sale in India. It already has a landing page on the local Amazon and Samsung pages. The search results on Samsung.com let it slip that we will see the 4GB and 6GB versions of the phone (the basic 3/32 GB configuration is nowhere to be found).
The launch is scheduled for March 11 at noon Thursday next week. It’s too early to talk about the price of the phone, but we can look at its closest relatives – the M11 launched at INR 15,000 (now INR 11,000), the current Galaxy A12 also started at INR 15,000 (now reduced to INR 14,000). ).

Galaxy M12: 6.5 ”LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate • Exynos 850 Chipset (8nm, 8x A55 @ 2.0GHz, Mali-G52)
Landing pages in India say that the 6.5-inch LCD screen has a 90Hz refresh rate that wasn’t previously discussed – note that Samsung has pulled the Vietnamese page down. Either way, a high refresh rate isn’t the reason the M12 is better than the A12.
The M-series model also has an Exynos 850 chipset, which is much more advanced than the Helio P35 – 8nm vs. 12nm, Cortex-A55 vs. A53, and a faster GPU to boot. The M12 takes the upper hand again in the battery department with an additional 1000mAh in the tank, bringing the total to 6000mAh (both phones charge at 15W).

Galaxy M12: 6000mAh battery (15W charge) • 48 MP main and 5 MP ultra wide cameras
Both phones use the 48 MP ISOCELL GM2 sensor in their main cameras and pair it with a 5 MP (123 °) ultra wide angle camera. That’s all we’ve got so far – we thought we knew everything there was to know about the Galaxy M12, but it turned out not to be. So check back next week for the price and any other changes.
