The Samsung Galaxy F62 presented last week went on sale in India yesterday and is already receiving its first software update.
The new firmware is version number E625FDDU1AUB4 and requires a download of approximately 180MB. The changelog shows that the new version improves the stability and performance of the camera while improving the overall performance of the device.

The new update is based on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 added and rolls out live. You will receive it once your Galaxy F62 has been configured. In case you don’t, you have the option to manually check for the update by heading to the phone. Settings > Software update menu.
The Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by the Exynos 9825 SoC and features a 6.7-inch FullHD + Super AMOLED + display with a hole for the 32MP selfie camera.

The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup on the rear panel that includes 64MP, 12MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 5MP main depth units. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and comes with a massive 7,000mAh battery charged via a USB-C port up to 25W.
The Galaxy F62 is currently only available in India and has two memory options – 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB priced at INR 23,999 ($ 330 / € 270) and INR 25,999 (360 $ / 295 €), respectively.
