The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G (SM-A725F / DS) we’ve been hearing about for a long time has come close to launch as it has been certified by the NBTC of Thailand.
The list on the Thai certification authority’s website doesn’t include any specifications for the Galaxy A72 4G, but a recent leak has revealed its full design and specifications.

According to this leak, the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will run Android 11 and will have two storage options: 128 GB and 256 GB. It will also have a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
The Galaxy A72 4G will sport a 6.7 “FullHD + 90Hz Super AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader underneath and a punch hole in the center for the 32MP selfie camera. The back panel of the smartphone will house a joined 64MP main camera. by 12MP, 8MP ultra-wide telephoto lens and 2MP macro units.

The A72 4G will be rated IP67, come in four colors, and come with a 5,000mAh battery charged through a USB-C port. The FCC has revealed that the smartphone will come with a 25W adapter.

We haven’t heard anything about Samsung’s Galaxy A72 yet, but a recent report said the smartphone will arrive in India in mid-March. However, as the official renders and full specs for the phone have come out, we believe the Galaxy A72 4G and 5G will be announced this month.
The base model of the A72 4G with 128GB of storage would cost € 449 in Europe, while the 256GB variant would cost € 509.
