The Samsung Galaxy A52 is a regular in the rumor, with leaks appearing every week for the past two months. One of them claimed that the phone would be water resistant, and today Evan Blass released an official teaser, confirming the IP67 certification.

The Galaxy A52 will be the first Samsung midranger since 2017 with any kind of official protection against water infiltration. Over the past four years, we’ve seen almost 50 new additions to the Galaxy A family, but none of them have been certified for an IP rating.
The new teaser also once again confirms a quad-camera setup on the rear, an Infinity-O panel with the fingerprint scanner underneath and a flat screen – nothing unexpected from a midranger. Thanks to other leaks, we also expect a Snapdragon 750G chipset, 4500mAh battery and 15W fast charging.
