February 25 will be a big day for Redmi – in addition to not believing in the new K40 flagship series, the brand will also present a new RedmiBook Pro 15 model. A model teased since early January.

RedmiBook Pro series to be unveiled on February 25
The laptop will be powered by an 11th Gen Intel, Tiger Lake H35, 35W quad-core / 8-thread processor with Iris Xe graphics, all made on the 10nm Intel Superfin process. There will also be a Core i5 version. In both cases, an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU will be added for additional processing power.

The 15-inch laptop will have an aluminum exterior and a backlit keyboard. From some of the teaser images, we can also spot a full-sized USB-C port and HDMI port. What we can’t see (but Geekbench revealed) is 16GB of RAM. And, yes, it will have a built-in webcam (which is not the case for all laptops from Xiaomi).
And there will also be an AMD powered version. It will be called RedmiBook Pro 15S and will ship with the Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H chips.

While it wasn’t featured in the teaser campaign, a 14-inch Ryzen-powered laptop also made the rounds on Geekbench, the RedmiBook Pro 14S. This will receive a Ryzen 5 5700U 15W processor instead. It’s not clear whether or not there will be a 14in Intel model – we’ll find out in a few weeks.
