Realme announced its X7 series in China last September, and now the phones have reached India. The Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro offer 5G connectivity, 64MP cameras, and prices start at INR 15,399 through the actual upgrade program.
Realme X7 Pro
The Realme X7 Pro comes with a Dimensity 1000+ chipset and a quad camera setup on the back with 64MP main units and 8MP ultra-wide units. Two 2MP sensors for bokeh and close-ups keep them company.
Up front is a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED panel with a fingerprint scanner underneath and a 32 MP selfie in the upper left corner inside a punch hole. The X7 Pro also comes with a 4,500mAh battery and 65W fast charging that takes it from flat to full in 35 minutes.
Realme will start selling the X7 Pro with just one memory combination – 8/128 GB. The first sale date is February 10 and the phone can be purchased from Flipkart for INR 29,999 ($ 410).
Realme X7
The Global Realme X7 is actually different from the phone of the same name in China. It’s actually a rebranded Realme V15, offering a 6.4in Super AMOLED display, Dimensity 800U chipset, and a 4300mAh battery with 50W fast charging to keep the lights on. However, Realme will still include the same 65W charging brick as on the X7 Pro.
Realme X7 in Silver and Nebula
The Global Realme X7 that India is getting has three cameras on the back – 64MP + 8MP ultrawide main shooters alongside a 2MP macro unit. On the front you get a 16MP camera.
The Realme X7 will launch on February 12th and will sell at Flipkart. It will cost INR 19,999 ($ 275) for the 6/128 GB memory option and INR 21,999 ($ 300) for the 8/128 GB variant.
The actual upgrade program, officially launched by the CEO of the company during the unveiling, allows users to pay only 70% of the price of the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro. After 12 months, customers will have a choice: pay the remaining 30% or upgrade to the next Realme X series smartphone, again only paying 70% of the total retail price.
