Razer announced developing the Barracuda X from the ground up, intended as a versatile multi-platform accessory without compromising style and comfort. Capitalizing on its years of design and engineering experience, the Razer team integrated its top-of-the-line audio technology in a comfortable package, resulting in a wireless gaming headset that works just as well whether the user is indoors or outdoors.
Also undergoing an extensive design process, the Barracuda X is the result of stringent tests to provide the best fit, comfort, without coming out as bulky or unnecessarily complex. Its concave surfaced style creates a sleek, minimalist feel, with clean accents visually connecting the yoke and ear cup for that complete, smooth look. Additionally, the Razer Barracuda X sports low-profile ear cups, designed to fit every ear shape, as well as being versatile enough to be adjusted and swiveled for a personalized fit. Plush memory foam makes up the ear cushions that are connected by a light headband for that maximum comfort.
Plug and Play Anywhere
Creating the ultimate multi-platform experience, Barracuda X makes sure that pairing and connectivity won’t hold gamers back. Carrying the proprietary Razer Hyperspeed Wireless USB-C Dongle, the latest gaming headset can seamlessly connect to PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, or Android devices as a plug and play device, making device pairing and additional driver downloads a thing of the past.
For applications where the USB-C connection is not available, Razer has enabled Barracuda X with an adapter cable for USB-C to USB A specifically for PC or Nintendo Switch use. Also, the wireless gaming headset has a 4-pole, 3.5mm jack for analog connection applications.
