The certification was issued by Mastermind Assurance, LLC, an accredited management systems certification body, on October 15, 2026. It covers the AI management system supporting ProSearch’s eDiscovery operations, including the intake, storage, processing, and hosting of client data. It also covers governance of how AI is developed, tested, and approved for use in that work.
The certification follows a yearlong, cross-functional effort to build and independently validate ProSearch’s AI management system, including the policies, controls, training, and oversight the standard requires.
The ISO/IEC 42001 certification complements ProSearch’s existing security and privacy certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001 for information security management, ISO/IEC 27017 for cloud security controls, and ISO/IEC 27018 for protecting personally identifiable information in public cloud environments.
