Collaboration establishes exclusive distribution and strengthens PAs engineering capabilities through knowledge transfer.
SINGAPORE, April 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Power Automation (PA), a wholly owned subsidiary of SP Group, today announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with global power solutions provider TBEA Co., Ltd. (TBEA), which will enable PA to expand its portfolio of electrical equipment and solutions in Singapore.
PA is Singapore’s leading engineering services and technology solutions provider, specializing in the automation and digitalization of power systems. This collaboration builds on PA’s strong track record in Singapore’s energy sector and supports the continued expansion of its capabilities to serve utilities and infrastructure developers in Singapore.
Under the terms of the agreement, PA will be the exclusive distributor of TBEA’s portfolio of primary energy equipment and solutions in Singapore, including gas and air insulated switchgear, power and distribution transformers and reactors, which are essential components in the construction, expansion and modernization of power grids. The partnership will also include technical training and knowledge transfer from TBEA to PA’s engineering team, strengthening local capabilities in in-market engineering, systems integration, installation, testing, commissioning and lifecycle management.
This complements PA’s existing strengths in network automation, protection systems and digital monitoring and control solutions. With the addition of TBEA’s leading electrical equipment, PA will be able to provide unique support to electrical infrastructure projects with integrated physical and digital solution capabilities throughout the asset lifecycle.
