Yesterday, on May 17, the OTON token was listed on the cryptocurrency exchange С3.Exchange. The first hours of trading led to many-fold growth in users and trading volumes – the exchange experienced the overload it was not ready for.
According to С3.Exchange, the OTON token listing led to a sharp increase in the exchange’s workload – during the first three hours, the number of users and trading volumes has grown tenfold. Large user influx caused the server overload and, as a result, slowed the execution of the trading orders.
The OTON ecosystem founder Anatoliy Ille described the event as follows:
“There was indeed a powerful demand and rush – a community several thousands strong was trying to buy tokens. Not all orders were executed correctly. Today, the trading went back to normal and the situation stabilized”
The maximum price for OTON was registered at the level of $0.61 which is 35 times higher than the presale price of $0.015-$0.02 (depending on the presale stage). At the moment of publication, the price was nearing $0.17.
