Oppo introduced the Reno5 4G and 5G last December, and the company will follow suit soon with a special edition called the Reno5 Marvel Edition which has been certified by the NBTC of Thailand.
The Thai regulator does not detail the specifications of Reno5 Marvel Edition, but reveals that the smartphone does not support 5G networks. The listing also includes the Reno5 Marvel Edition model code (CPH2159), which is the same as Reno5 4G, suggesting that the Reno5 Marvel Edition is based on Reno5 4G.

This means that the Oppo Reno5 Marvel Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC and will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is expected to boot ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 like the Reno5 4G, but we expect it to come with some Marvel-themed wallpapers and icons as well.

The rest of the expected specs of the Reno5 Marvel Edition include a 6.43 ” 90Hz + AMOLED FullHD + AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader underneath, a 44MP selfie camera, a 64MP quad camera and a 4310mAh battery with a charge. of 50W.
There’s no word from Oppo on the Reno5 Marvel Edition just yet, but we should hear more about it in the coming days.
