Oppo’s Kenya branch teased the Reno5 F last week with a 48 MP main camera, 4310mAh battery, and 30W charge. We now learn that the smartphone will arrive with two more names in markets. different.

The word comes from leaker Evan Blass, who claims that an Oppo smartphone codenamed Darwin will launch in different regions with three different names – Reno5 F, A94 and F19.
The Oppo Darwin will be called F19 in India, A94 in Europe and Reno5 F in Asia. India and Europe will also get 5G variants called F19 Pro and A94 5G respectively. We wonder why Oppo decided to name the 5G variant F19 Pro in India instead of just calling it F19 5G, but that’s how confusing Oppo’s naming convention can be.
Blass also shared some footage from Darwin, which tells us that the smartphone will carry a punch-hole display and sport a quad camera on the back that includes 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP monochrome units. We don’t see a fingerprint scanner in the render, but it could be under the 6.4 “FullHD + OLED panel like the F17.

The rest of the specs revealed by the source include a Helio P95 SoC, 6GB / 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and a 16MP selfie camera. The Oppo Darwin will pack a 4310mAh battery with a 30W charge and have three color options: black, silver, and purple.
The event page Oppo Kenya set up on its website for the Reno5 F says the smartphone will “be available on March 22,” but the counter on the page indicates that the phone will launch on March 26.
The F19 Pro will be introduced in India on March 8 along with the F19 Pro + 5G. Both will feature perforated screens and quad sport rear cameras, but the camera islands will have different designs.
