Yesterday we saw some screenshots which revealed that the Oppo Find X3 PEDM00 rolling model code will run ColorOS 11.2 based on Android 11 and have 8GB of RAM on board. Today, the smartphone appeared on Geekbench with 8 GB of RAM and Android 11, corroborating these specifications.
The chipset powering the smartphone is listed as “kona” in the motherboard section, which is the codename for the Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, one of the snapshots from yesterday showed us About Find X3 page, revealing that the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 870 chip under the hood, which is essentially a Snapdragon 865 ++ as it shares most specs with the 865+ but comes with the main core clocked at 3, 2 GHz.

It’s also worth noting that the Find X3’s multi-core score we’re looking at is lower than what some Snapdragon 865-powered smartphones got in our testing, but the single-core score is higher. While the unit that ran the benchmark test might be a pre-production model, you can expect better results from the retail version.

The rest of the specs revealed by yesterday’s screenshots include a FullHD + display, 256GB of storage, and a 12.6MP camera. More details on this should appear in the coming days.
