OnePlus is set to launch its 9 Series soon, and in December we heard that a third device could join the vanilla and Pro flagships – a OnePlus 9E. We still have no idea what its specs are, but the moniker popped up on the famous accessory maker Spigen’s website, confirming it’s on the way.

Big names like Spigen rarely get this information wrong, as they are given information about upcoming devices well in advance of official arrival to prepare their products in time for launch.
In this particular case, we see the OnePlus 9E and not the previously rumored OnePlus 9R, but the actual name of the device has kind of become a battle between the leaks. As for the specs, we expect it to be powered by a Snapdragon 690 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It’s the same chipset in the Nord N10, which raises a valid question as to whether these phones would be available in the same markets, competing with each other, or whether OnePlus has something else in mind. We still have no idea when the OnePlus 9 phones will arrive, but we hope to know the date on Monday March 8.
