The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro doesn’t have a native way to respond to incoming SMS messages, but a new app allows you to do so. It is Mood Messenger’s companion app and offers quick responses with several predefined options.
Note that Mood replaces your phone’s SMS and MMS app, it will not work with the original phone app.
Incoming messages • Emoji replies • More emoji • Text replies
Once you’re ready, you’ll be able to read the last 5 posts on your Watch GT 2 Pro and choose from multiple emoji and a few one-word responses (thanks, yes, no, talk to you later.). There is no keypad, so more detailed answers will have to be typed on the phone.

The watch companion app can be locked by region as we couldn’t find it in the Huawei app gallery (the phone app pops up easily).
Mood Messenger for Android
The app is developed by MadSEVEN, the company behind Apolo Launcher, Apolo Browser and several other apps. The launcher appears to have been removed from the Google Play Store for some reason, but it’s still available in the app gallery.
