Google initially released Android 13 OS for its Pixel handsets. It’s been four months since it arrived on Google’s mobile platform, but some models are still not supported by the latest operating system.
The newly launched system first became available for select handhelds from Sony, Samsung, OnePlus and more brands, but we haven’t seen an updated list from Motorola at that point.
The updates must be considerably slower at Motorola than at the other companies. Recently, the Illinois-based maker posted the most recent list of all Android 13 supported devices.

According to an article by XDA Developers, it is not surprising that the new generation of Moto phones such as Motorola Edge 30 Pro and Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will get Android 13 support as they have the best specs at the time.
However, if you own a fairly old model such as the Moto G smartphone, it may take a while for the latest mobile operating system to arrive.
So far, Motorola hasn’t revealed the exact date of the rollout, but XDA Developers reports that it could happen sometime in “early 2023”.
If we’re lucky, we can definitely see availability decrease in a month. Otherwise, the update to Android 13 support for Motorola phones could happen in the first half of 2023.
If you think Android 13 is slowing down your phone because it is not compatible, you can use custom ROMs to uninstall the update.
Here’s the official list of all Motorola devices that will get Android 13.
- Motorola Razr 2022
- Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
- Motorola Edge 30 Pro
- Motorola Edge Plus 2022
- Motorola Edge 30 Fusion
- Motorola Edge 30 Neo
- Motorola Edge 30
- Motorola Edge 2022
- Motorola Edge 20 Pro
- Motorola Edge 20

- Moto G5G
- Moto G82 5G
- Moto G72
- Moto G62 5G

From what you can see, the Moto G71 is nowhere to be found on the list. This disappoints many fans who expect the said model to make it to Android 13 support.

These two smartphones became the first two Nokia flagships to receive the update. Some readers from the UAE and Egypt have confirmed the rollout of the update.
Meanwhile, a report from GSM Arena says that the Android 13 update has arrived for Xperia Pro-I, Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III.
