A new Motorola smartphone has surfaced and again bears the model name of a Mediterranean city. After the Motorola Ibiza and the Motorola Capri, say hello to the Motorola Athena (also known as Motorola Defy).
The phone appeared on the Google Play and Geekbench consoles with a Snapdragon 662 chipset and 4GB of RAM, suggesting it would be another affordable handset.

Thanks to the Google Play console, we know that the new phone will have an HD + screen with a drop of water for the selfie camera (unless it is a placeholder since the Moto G9 has the same rendering before ).
He also revealed that the operating system will be Android 10, which was confirmed by Geekbench where the phone was tested under the confusing name of Bullitt Motorola Defy. Benchmark scores are in line with those of any other Snapdragon 662-powered device, so it only remains for Motorola to launch the new phone under the popular Moto G branch.
