Motorola has started sowing Android 10 firmware on the Moto G8 Play in Brazil. The firmware, QMD30.47-19, is the same Android 10 that Motorola pushed to One Macro in India a few weeks ago and is around 1.46GB in size.
Android 10 brings a number of improvements. It enables gesture navigation, the dark theme, the improved navigation panel, and in this case, the December 2020 security patch.
We haven’t had any reports of Moto G8 Play devices outside of Brazil receiving the update, but if you have the device, check your software update menu to see if the OTA has arrived for you.
