Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi of South Korea visited Vietnam for the first time on a business trip this week.
Choi was welcomed by actress Truong Ngoc Anh, head of the organizing committee of the 2023 Miss Earth Vietnam pageant when she arrived at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday night.
“I’m very happy to receive such a warm welcome and feel the hospitality of everyone,” Choi said.

The beauty contest winner will attend a press conference to announce the 2023 Miss Earth Vietnam pageant on Wednesday. In addition, she will participate in several community events before returning to South Korea on July 22.
Choi, 24, was crowned 2022 Miss Earth in Philippines last November.
She graduated in media major in South Korea and used to be a model. She speaks fluent English, and has lived in many countries including China, Australia, the US and Canada. In 2021 she was the runner-up at the Miss Korea pageant.
The first Miss Earth Vietnam event was scheduled for 2021 but was canceled by the Covid-19 pandemic. The first Miss Earth pageant was hosted in 2001 by Carousel Productions Inc. of Philippines.
