Mercedes-Benz has revealed more details about its upcoming EQE SUV and Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV, according to Electrek.

Mercedes-Benz Group will present the AMG EQE SUV at the Musée Rodin during a Mercedes-Benz presentation in Paris on October 16, 2022, on the eve of the opening of the Paris Motor Show.
EQE SUV
In August, the automaker revealed its first glimpse of the interior of the EQE SUV for the first time. In three different press releases, the company shared more details about its upcoming SUV.
The press release states that the EQE SUV will be more compact compared to its sedan counterpart. But rest assured, the EQE SUV will be more spacious inside. It also has an estimated WLTP of over 550km for European versions.
The company also added a customer-focused technical innovation to the imposing screen band that allows the passenger to watch TV without distracting the driver.
In addition, the vehicle’s lithium-ion battery comes with ten modules, while the management software provides over-the-air (OTA) updates that keep power management up to date.
The EQE SUV will be available in single-engine RWD or twin-engine AWD. It is plug-and-charge and comes with a standard heat pump. Consumers can also add a DIGITAL LIGHT.

EQE-AMG
The EQE-AMG is the high-performance version of the EQE SUV that will have a unique appearance. This will also be the first SUV to join its EQ line of electric vehicles. Mercedes took the basic design of the EQE SUV and increased it both inside and out.
According to the press release, “Two powerful electric motors and fully variable four-wheel drive form the basis for AMG’s signature dynamic driving experience.” It includes the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with Adaptive Damping System, rear-axle steering and AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL.
While the exterior features a radiator grille with black panels with hot stamped vertical struts in chrome, integrated Mercedes star and AMG lettering. It also has a brand-specific badge on the hood with the AMG emblem in place of the Mercedes star, first seen on a Mercedes-AMG EV. In addition, the front features an AMG-specific dashboard in body color with A-wing in high-gloss black and chrome finish.
Inside the SUV, the dashboard features an instrument panel and belt lines in Space Gray MB-Tex with red topstitching. The door center panels transition from the center console to the instrument cluster in black microfibre, accentuated by an AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather with a flattened underside, perforated grip and silver-coloured aluminum adjustment paddles.
It also features AMG sports pedals, AMG floor mats and door sill panels. There is also the option of equipping it with an optional MBUX curved hyperscreen with three separate screens in a piece of glass.
