Meizu is already working on the 18-series, and we’ve seen two devices certified by CCC with support for 40W and 30W, respectively. Now, a device with model number M007W has been spotted at CNIPO (Chinese National Intellectual Property Office), and from the attached pictures, we know it will be a smartwatch.

The device has a square screen and a button on the right side. There is certainly a strong resemblance to the Apple Watch, especially the rubber band which has a very similar buckle.
We expect the smartwatch to arrive alongside the Meizu 18 smartphones. While an announcement date has yet to be scheduled, a leakster has already suggested where the major upgrades would come from – the screen and the processor.

The switch to the Snapdragon 888 has already been announced and the Chinese source says the company will also move away from the Samsung OLED panel with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. At this point, we expect that. Meizu chooses with its Chinese colleague BOE for the panels, and we could see curved sides and perhaps a higher screen refresh rate than that of the Meizu 17 series.
