MATLAB Test enables engineers and researchers to develop, run, measure, and manage dynamic tests of large-scale code. The new product helps organizations organize and manage project test results by allowing them to aggregate, store and run custom test suites. To maximize productivity, engineers and researchers can leverage industry standard code coverage metrics such as Modified Condition/Decision Coverage (MC/DC) to identify untested code paths. Users can also use the product’s project-based quality dashboard to generate detailed information about code analysis, code coverage, test results, and requirements. Interactive visual previews provide an intuitive, at-a-glance view of code preparation.
This R2023a also provides the new C2000 microcontroller blockset for designing, simulating, and implementing applications for Texas Instruments C2000 microcontrollers. This block set allows engineers and researchers to model digital power conversion and motor control applications. Additionally, peripheral blocks such as digital I/O, ADC and ePWM are included to allow simulation of control algorithms requiring ADC-PWM synchronization in industrial and automotive applications using the control unit C2000 engine.
“The new R2023a release is designed for engineers and researchers who need to efficiently build safety-critical systems,” said David Rich, product marketing manager at MathWorks. You will benefit from high quality and automation within the system.
In this R2023a, ▲ Aerospace Blockset ▲ Communication Toolbox ▲ Powertrain Blockset ▲ Vehicle Dynamics Blockset etc. have been updated.
The Aerospace Blockset provides reference examples and blocks in Simulink for modeling, simulating, and analyzing high-precision aircraft, aircraft, and spacecraft platforms. This set of blocks includes vehicle dynamics, a validated model of the flight environment, and blocks for pilot motion, actuator dynamics, and propulsion.
Communications Toolbox provides algorithms and applications for the analysis, design, end-to-end simulation, and verification of communications systems. Toolkit algorithms include channel coding, modulation, multiple input/output (MIMO), and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), allowing engineers and researchers to build and simulate models physical layer of existing standard or custom wireless communication systems. .
The Powertrain Blockset provides engineers and researchers using model-based design with pre-assembled automotive reference applications for gasoline, diesel, hybrid, fuel cell and battery electric propulsion systems. Block set includes motor, traction motor, battery, transmission, tire, driver model, components and management controller.
The Vehicle Dynamics Blockset provides pre-assembled automotive dynamics reference applications for cars, trucks, and two-wheelers. The block set has a library of components including propulsion, steering, suspension, body, brakes, tires, driver models, components and supervisory controllers.
