A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck China’s northeast region on Sunday, the German Geoscience Research Center (GFZ) said.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said.
The Associated Press reported that the earthquake occurred near the city of Dezhou, about 300 kilometers (185 miles) south of Beijing, the Chinese capital, at 2:33 a.m.
It toppled houses and injured at least 10 people, but no fatalities were reported, he said, citing state media.
