Yena, a former member of renowned K-pop girlgroup IZ*ONE, excited locals when she wore a traditional conical hat while dancing to the Vietnamese hit song “See Tinh” in Hoi An.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday night, Yena uploaded photos of her trip with family in Hoi An acient town and Da Nang city.
In the photos, she was wearing a conical hat during a coracle boat ride, and attending a flower garlands and colored lanterns event in Hoi An.
Yuna also hopped on trend when uploaded a TikTok video dancing to “See Tinh,” a song by Vietnamese singer Hoang Thuy Linh that has been viral for months in South Korea and other Asian countries.

Yena’s post received over 220,000 likes and thousands of comments, with many from Vietnamese fans.
“Welcome to Vietnam! I love you so much,” Instagram user @hhao39 commented.
“You look so cute in a conical hat. I’m glad that you visited Vietnam,” wrote another netizen.
Yena’s full name is Choi Ye-na. She was a member of the popular group IZ*ONE from 2018 until it disbanded in 2021. After that, she continued her career as a solo singer and achieved success with the hit “Smiley” in 2022. Yena also made her acting debut in 2021 .
“See Tinh” is the second single from Hoang Thuy Linh’s fourth studio album “LINK,” which was released in February 2022. It went viral earlier this year, with many artists and celebrities in South Korea and China showing their love for the song.
