Isco’s agent confirmed that his client is not happy at Real Madrid. Isco can leave La Liga in this Winter. Some English clubs such as Everton especially are keen on signing the Spaniard.
Isco has been through his worst period of time in the career at Real Madrid as the Spanish midfielder has lost his position in the starting-11 squad to Fede Valverde. The international Uruguayan star took Isco’s position in the starting-11 squad of Los Blancos after showing some outstanding performance in the shirt of Deportivo. Isco’s father and agent confirm that Isco can leave La Liga in this Winter since Isco needs more playing time. The Spanish player is hunting an opportunity to play for Spain in Euro 2021 next year.
Madrid is currently planning for a massive summer transfer. The capital club is looking forward to finishing the contract with Kylian Mbappe, and selling Isco can help them cut down the wage budget and also help the club add more money to their transfer budget.
Isco right now is receiving about €6m and €7m net per-season, and if the Spanish player leaves La Liga, Real Madrid will be able to cut down a significant amount of money. The global pandemic has a dramatic effect on every club, and Real Madrid is not the exception. The club cannot avoid suffering from the financial crisis, and while they are planning for a massive transfer the next summer, selling players who are not happy is a good solution.

Before joining Real Madrid in 2014, Isco had a wonderful spell at Malaga and Valencia’s youth academy. He was the first signing of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, and under the management of the Italian coach, they both won the 2014 UEFA Champions League. Isco used to be an important part of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid squad which has won the UEFA Champions League three times in a row.
The midfielder has a significant amount of playing time in the season 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. He hit 2,400 and 3,000 minutes respectively in these two seasons, but the player only got 1,600 minutes of playing time in the season of 2019-2020. The player has lost his crucial role in the Real Madrid squad, and also in the Spanish national squad.
Since June. 2019, Luis Enrique has not called up the Real’s midfielder again. Perhaps, it is the motivation for his move in this Winter. He needs to convince Enrique to give him another chance with the national team, and the strongest conviction will be shown on the field. Everton is likely to sign Isco since Ancelotti is happy with the playing style of the Spanish player and ready for a reunion with the player.
