The inflation monster, dormant for the last few years, is rearing its ugly head again. As the economy gets back on its feet, inflation seems primed to tag along and spoil the party. Recent price uptick in metals and fuel, along with power, took wholesale inflation to a high of 12.94% in May. Consumer price inflation also shot up to 6.3%, compared to 4.3% in the previous month.
