“I didn’t expect to stay long in Vietnam at first,” she said. “But then I realized that my baby face was to Vietnamese taste.”
But that’s why she decided to move to Vietnam after living in various countries including Germany, Spain and Singapore.
Although meeting her husband was an important factor in her settling down, the development of the fashion and beauty market in Vietnam presented her with so many opportunities that it made her decision to stay almost inevitable.
Zakhidova said she always had a lot of chances to meet experienced models, as well as fashion designers, who put her at ease and helped her improve.
With language barriers between her and her native colleagues, misunderstandings are inevitable, but Zakhidova’s Vietnamese colleagues always help her.
The model is content with her life in Vietnam and intends to further establish her name in the country.
Besides remaining a model who walks the catwalks, takes photos and attends events, she thinks of attracting more social media followers by better developing her TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts.
“If I want to do it, I have to be more interesting in the public eye,” she confessed.
Zakhidova, 23, is a Ukrainian model active in Vietnam.
Her husband Bui Tien Dung, 26, began to gain public recognition when he became a regular starter for the U23 national team during the 2018 AFC U23 Championship. He plays for Hanoi Police Football Club in the elite of Vietnamese football.
