Gionee launched the Max smartphone in India last August and now has a tracking offering for the subcontinent in the form of the Max Pro.
This model comes with 6.52 inch 720×1560 LCD touchscreen, Unisoc SC9863A chipset (with Cortex-A55 octa-core processor), 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 13MP rear camera assisted by a 2 MP depth sensor and LED Flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper housed in a teardrop-shaped notch and a 6000 mAh battery.

You get two nanoSIM slots, support for 4G VoLTE, but no fingerprint sensor – you’ll have to rely on the camera-based face unlock. The dimensions of the Max Pro are 165 x 75 x 10 mm and it weighs 212 g.
The phone runs Android 10 and will be available in black, red and blue from March 8. You’ll find it on Flipkart for 6,999 INR (that’s about $ 95 or € 79 at current exchange rates).
