OTTAWA, ONTARIO, March 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Gastops, an innovative Canadian provider of advanced in-service support solutions for marine, aerospace, energy and industrial applications, has signed a collaboration agreement with TKMS, a German integrated systems solutions provider in maritime defense technologies with over 180 years of naval engineering experience, to support the Canadian patrol submarine project.
Through this collaboration, Gastops and TKMS will establish an Automation Systems In-Service Support (ASISS) Center of Excellence dedicated to supporting the Royal Canadian Navy’s CPSP program. ASISS includes the comprehensive, long-term management and execution of all activities in Canada required for the operation, maintenance and upkeep of the installed subsea automation/platform management system (PMS) and steering and driving control (S&DC)/autopilot systems throughout their life cycle, ensuring maximum operational availability.
The collaboration will be strengthened by Canadian AI company CORSphere, which will integrate its AI-based machine/system performance assessment, diagnostics and prognostics to improve vessel availability and maintenance optimization.
