LG CNS visited Kumho Middle School in Yeongcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 15th and launched this year’s first AI Genius activity with about 100 middle school students. On that day, students from Kumho Girls’ Middle School also participated in the activity. Starting with Kumho Middle School, LG CNS plans to provide free AI genius training to 3,100 students across 38 schools by the end of the year.

According to the company, LG CNS will implement AI Genius for middle schools and special schools designated by the Ministry of Education as priority education and welfare support in Seoul, with less than 60 students in areas. remote, rural areas and less than 60 students. . AI Genius is run 6 hours a day during regular college classes. Students can create their own services based on new DX technologies, such as AI logistics robots, AI chatbots and My Data.
LG CNS recently included training on core logistics technologies, such as MFC (Micro Fulfillment Center) and AI logistics robots, which are provided to logistics customers, in this year’s AI Genius course. Students can learn about technologies that enable fast and accurate delivery, such as MFC, a small to medium-sized logistics center located in densely populated city centers, AI/data-driven ordering pattern analysis, and AI warehouse robots that store many items in a small space.
In particular, logistics robots such as AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) and Smart Sorter are composed of programs that students carry out themselves. AGV is an unmanned transportation robot that moves goods to a designated warehouse by type, and Smart Sorter is a robot that learns images with AI to classify goods ordered by consumers and moves them to AGV. Students perform coding tasks for AI image learning and object classification.
LG CNS teaches how to easily develop as a block assembly so that students can understand the conceptual principles of coding through AI chatbot coding lessons. Even students without computer knowledge can create their own chatbot in just two hours. In the My Data Service Planning course, students have time to plan and present data services that fit their lifestyle.
Meanwhile, LG CNS is also implementing the AI Genius Academy, an advanced AI education program for high school students. “AI Genius Academy” is a different program from “AI Genius” and offers new DX technology and career design training. All high school students across the country who are interested in AI can participate, and we expect to select approximately 80 teams.
LG CNS launched this program to help address the lack of AI teaching software and infrastructure in preparation for the high school credit system, which will be fully implemented in all high schools starting in 2025. The high school credit system is a system in which high school students, like college students, choose the subjects they want and are recognized for graduation when they earn the standard credits.
From 2017 to present, LG CNS has provided computer training to 16,000 students in 188 schools through “AI Genius” and “AI Genius Academy”.
An official from LG CNS pointed out, “We will increase our DX social contribution activities so that young people can become future IT talents by using LG CNS DX’s new technological capabilities, which are the basis of innovation in computer science. ‘client experience.
