ESL (Electronic Sports League) Gaming decided to extend its partnership with Intel to another 20 years. Because of this collaboration, ESL and Intel are now looking to invest around $100 million in esports.

ESL and Intel’s new partnership is expected to start this coming 2022. The extended partnership will also cover the upcoming IEM Katowice 2025.
Aside from these, the additional years of collaboration of Intel and ESL Gaming will excite their fans since it will bring further product improvements and innovations. To give you more idea, here are other details of the new giant collaboration.
ESL and Intel’s New Partnership
According to Esport Insider’s latest report, the extension of ESL Gaming’s contract with chip developer will rebrand all non-league ESL Pro Tour circuit “CS: GO” tournaments. They will soon be under Intel’s Extreme Masters brand.

These include the current ESL One Cologne, which was rebranded to Intel Extreme Masters Cologne (IEM Cologne). Because of this, the giant chip manufacturer and ESL completed more than 80 IEM events across 15 different seasons.
“After 20 years of building something hand in hand it’s hard to consider Intel as merely a partner,” said Ralf Reichert, ESL Gaming’s Co-CEO. “The two-decade journey has forged a bond that has no parallel in the world of esports and we are excited to be extending it with a commitment of this magnitude; the next three years will be the greatest esports fans have seen yet.”
The current renewal will continue Intel’s 2016 agreement with ESL Gaming. Aside from this, both of the companies are expected to continue providing technology solutions for ESL’s pro-level events and tournaments.
ESL Gaming’s Other Activities
Aside from the extended Intel partnership, ESL Gaming also renewed its collaboration with DouYu for another year, which is way shorter compared to its new contract with the giant chip manufacturer, as reported by ESTNN.
Because of this, DouYu can now broadcast the ESL Pro Tour “Warcraft III,” “StarCraft II,” “Dota 2,” and “CS:GO.” As of the moment, ESL Gaming didn’t confirm if the one-year extension is its final decision. If you want to know more details, all you need to do is click this link.
