Now many employees are expected to be affected by Elon Musk’s new decisions as thousands of them are expected to be fired from their positions.
Elon Musk Twitter Plans Include Mass Removal Of Employees
According to the latest report from The New York Times, Twitter is expected to have more than 11,000 employees by 2025. But Elon Musk will first remove about 1,000 employees who work for the platform.

This means that Twitter’s 9,225 employees will decrease this 2022 by about 8,300 in 2023.
The Daily Mail UK reported that most of the workers affected are those who are “awake” (individuals who are open to injustice in society).
Once the mass removal of workers takes place, Musk said he would hire replacements. The new hires are expected to have engineering experience.
With this detail, there’s a good chance the billionaire will start working on improving the platform’s features.
Musk’s Other Twitter Subscriptions
Aside from the massive removal of staff, the billionaire also said he wants to increase the number of active users on the social media platform.
The tech CEO claimed he wants Twitter to have about 900 million additional users by 2028. Of course, Elon explained that this massive increase would be achieved slowly.
First, he wants to have about 217 million consumers by the end of 2022. After that, about 600 million additional users are expected by 2025.
