Doogee is known for its rugged phones, and these seem to be great budget alternatives to more high-end devices like CATs. Doogee (pronounced from: dʒi: if you were wondering) sells well-designed, almost indestructible phones at a great price, and if you drop yours, say, in a lava pit, well, you don’t. worry much, and you would just buy another one.
And here’s one of those weirdly interesting specimens – the Doogee S88 Pro. It has been in our backlog for some time, but we are glad we finally got to have a look at it.
Just like many other rugged phones, this S88 Pro has a transformer look with a sturdy and beautiful body made of metal and rubber for IP69K water and drop resistance, among others. It has a decent 1080p display, adequate hardware for the job, a modern camera setup, but what’s probably the biggest selling feature is the massive 10,000mAh battery. Wow!
So the Doogee S88 Pro offers a 6.3 ” 1080p IPS LCD display, it runs on the Helio P70 chip and contains a triple camera on the back with a 21MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 8MP depth (which must be There are additional custom and emergency keys, you also get a bezel-mounted fingerprint reader, while on the rear two eye-shaped LEDs round out the indicator light notification before.

Unpacking the Doogee S88 Pro
The Doogee S88 Pro comes packaged in a big paper box, but it’s a big phone, isn’t it? Either way, inside you’ll find a 24W charger, USB-C cable, 3.5mm to USB-C adapter, and a small sling.
The S88 Pro also comes with a slim screen protector, which you can easily apply yourself. Well, it’s supposed to be easy even though we messed up our own a bit.
We expected tempered glass – like the one Ulefone comes with its Armor phones – but Doogee’s is just a rather thin plastic film although the manufacturer claims it is explosion-proof. Law…
