The Asus ROG Phone 5 is back at TENAA … sort of. This is the I005DB, while the unit seen in the previous leak was instead the I005DA. Model B has a noticeably different back than Model A, the LED-backlit Republic of Gamers logo is gone, and the other decorative elements are slightly different (check out the side-by-side comparison below).

A closer look at the rear of the Model A reveals a small Tencent Games logo. In the past two years, Asus has released a Tencent-sponsored version of its gaming phone, and the upcoming model is no different.
This then means that Model B is the consumer version that we will see globally. Notice the little triangle under the camera on this version. This matches the video-manipulated view unit, which had a small secondary screen on its back.
Judging by the positioning of the Tencent Games logo and other decals, this version may ignore this secondary display (that makes sense, it’s usually the cheapest phone). This display is more easily seen in these handy photos.

That aside, the specs should be the same – from the Snapdragon 888 chipset with 16GB of RAM, to the 6,000mAh battery with 65W load, to the 6.78in AMOLED display with refresh rate. of 144 Hz.
