Dell has expanded its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering and announced a new “Pro Plus” service. Dell MDR Pro Plus is a managed security management solution that supports security threat prevention, response and recovery.

Key service offerings include ▲ 24/7 threat detection and investigation, vulnerability identification to prioritize remediation, ▲ security breach and attack simulation including settings web and email gateway, to ensure that the existing security control environment is properly configured and, examining to see if it works, ▲use the same techniques used by skilled hackers to perform penetration testing to find vulnerable paths within the organization, identify potentially suspicious activity and recommend improvements to its security posture, ▲improve member risk awareness and provide cybersecurity training throughout throughout the year through simple, easy-to-learn learning modules to promote best practices.
In addition to its managed services approach, Dell provides software and services that help customers properly design, manage and secure their internal IT environments.
Dell has expanded its choice of cybersecurity software by integrating “CrowdStrike Falcon” into its “Dell SafeGuard and Response” portfolio. Users can accelerate threat investigation and response with CrowdStrike’s comprehensive cloud-native threat defense platform, and effectively protect key enterprise security areas such as endpoints, workloads cloud, account management and data protection.
Additionally, with the addition of CrowdStrike to the portfolio, enterprises using Dell’s services can easily scale their security requirements and transition to a Zero Trust architecture with a highly scalable best-in-class solution.
Additionally, Dell unveiled a cloud-based version of its supply chain security offering, Secured Component Verification, so businesses can purchase products with greater peace of mind. Businesses can now add security guarantees to confirm that the PCs they order have arrived without physical damage.
The cloud version of the Secure Component Authentication solution reduces the risk of product tampering with Dell commercial PCs. Dell creates digital certificates that are stored in a secure cloud environment and documents key factory PC components. After shipment, IT can examine the PC against its certificates and verify the integrity of its components at any time during use. With a unique offering from Dell, enterprise IT departments can validate their entire family of PCs against every device locally in a single view, improving product security and reducing inspection time.
“Dell continues to expand its security-based services and solutions integrated into its infrastructure, supply chain and products,” said Kim Kyung-jin, president of Dell Technologies Korea. “We want to focus on providing solutions to businesses that are struggling due to the growing number of people, and helping them build resilience.”
