The bracelet has caught wind of popularity and people’s interest, as it provided a nifty way to carry around one’s COVID-19 vaccine passport.

There is no special tech or features an ImmunaBand has, but it is something that would be important and relevant at this point, especially as the world is recovering from the global pandemic that shut it down. COVID-19 has been plaguing the country for a year now, but the vaccination drive is pushing back against the virus to bring back the “normal.”
Now that the country is near the “finish line,” the great deal now is whether a person has been immunized or denies the vaccine (anti-vaxxers), as the country would soon ease up on COVID-19 restrictions. Maybe there would come a point where an establishment would only accept vaccinated people inside and would ask for proof in the process.

ImmunaBand, What Is It?

A company called ImmunaBand from California is start-up that provides a wearable bracelet that would contain an individual’s COVID-19 Vaccine Passport and proof around, without the paper card. It somehow resembles that of a hospital band that is used to identify a patient’s information as it is tagged whenever they are admitted or confined.
According to their website, the company promotes the vaccination program and wants to share it with other people as well, without the need to flaunt out cards, which are easily falsified. The bands would have one’s name on it, and the vaccine’s name that was administered (e.g. Pfizer, Moderna, etc.), and a QR code for additional information.
Why is it Popular?
The bracelet has become popular mainly because of its easy usage that provides an ingenious way to carry one’s vaccination card without the need to worry where it is. The vaccine passport wearable offers convenience and accessibility to people and establishments wanting to know if an individual is vaccinated, and people are extremely fond of the wearable, as reported by Fox 5 San Diego.

Is ImmunaBand Essential?
While ImmunaBand or a COVID-19 vaccine card bracelet offers a convenient way of bringing one’s vaccination card and proof, it is not an essential wearable or even required by vaccination centers. However, the device may be purchased and used as a COVID-19 vaccine passport to one’s preference, offering a reasonable $20 price tag for each of its purchases.
