CASUGOL partners with the top 1 Private University in South-East Asia – Taylor’s University, with a presence in 38 different countries, and successfully certified more than 5,200 professionals worldwide will be launching the Master of Applied Computing (MAC) with the first intake in March 2021.
In a recent study by Gartner TalentNeuron, the demand for talents in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science has rapidly increased in technology, and non-technology companies. The global pandemic has further motivated the necessity as businesses begin to adopt AI and Data Science as part of their digitalization development.
The hybrid-model of Master of Applied Computing (MAC) combining Taylor’s University academic experience and Casugol industry expertise will cultivate a new generation of innovative leaders that are cognitively intelligent, and technically competent. Through regular interactions with industry practitioners, students will also learn pragmatic approaches that can be applied in the workplace.

MAC certification is designed to address the shortage of AI and Data Science talents around the world by bridging the gap between academia and industry. The partnership between Taylor’s University and CASUGOL provides students with a unique learning experience by blending academic learning with the fast-changing industry needs.
Throughout the course, students are regularly exposed to the latest industry trends and best practices with lectures conducted by industry leaders instead of academia lecturers.
Students can choose to specialize in either AI or Data Science as their field of specialization. After completing and fulfilling all requirements for an Industry-Bridging Program, students will be awarded a CASUGOL International Industry Certification. Students specializing in Artificial Intelligence will receive a Certificate of Competency in Advanced Deep Learning Professional (ADLP). While student specializes in Data Science will achieve certification in Advanced Big Data Analytics Expert (ABDE).
