In addition to the performances, Blackpink excited the audience with short interactions, expressing their love for the people and the country on their first time here.
“I love Vietnam. I love Hanoi,” they shouted throughout the show.
Rosé, the lead singer, described Vietnamese food as very delicious, especially Phowhile Lisa said she loved hair bunand Jisoo added that she liked Banh Mi.
26-year-old singer Rosé has mentioned her love for pho many times before. Overseas Vietnamese fans often gift him instant pho packs and even asked him to get Pho at the airport.
In early July, a Vietnamese TikToker came to Incheon airport to greet Rosé after returning from England. She asked Rosé what she wanted to eat the most in Vietnam and she answered Pho, in a moment that quickly went viral among Blackpink fans in Vietnam.
After receiving instantly Pho packets from the fans, Rosé took a picture and said it was her favorite dish.
In the reality show “Blackpink House”, Rosé asked Lisa to have Pho with her on their day off.
“I’m hungry and I want to eat Pho“, she said after spotting a Vietnamese restaurant on the road. She ordered a large bowl of beef Pho, with Vietnamese rolls and fried rice and couldn’t hide her excitement while enjoying the dishes.

Blackpink was formed in 2016 and consists of four members: Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose. The group has since enjoyed international success with numerous hits like “Ddu-Du Ddu-du”, “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom”.
Their YouTube channel is the most viewed on the platform with 30.399 billion views. Apart from music, the four band members are also global ambassadors for famous fashion brands.
Their Born Pink World Tour, which began late last year, has grossed around $163.8 million so far, with over 900,000 tickets sold. This makes Born Pink the highest-grossing girl group tour of all time, surpassing the previous record set by Spice Girls ($78.2 million) in 2019.
Hanoi is the band’s last stop in Asia on the Born Pink world tour.
