Black Panther star Letitia Wright faced social media backlash after sharing an anti-vaccine video on Twitter Thursday night. The video in questions is from YouTube personality Tom Arayomi, where he admitted that doesn’t understand the coronavirus vaccines medically. Unilever New Zealand employees sure have something to celebrate. The company is implementing a four-day work week strategy while still giving employees full salaries. British multinational consumer goods company Unilever is now ready to try out a four-day work week for all its New Zealand employees. This means longer weekends, shorter work days and more work-life balance. Unilever said all 81 staff members at its offices across New Zealand would be able to participate in the trial, starting next week and running for 12 months until December next year. The UK became the first Western country to authorize a coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday, a crucial moment in the global fight against COVID-19. UK regulators granted emergency authorization for a vaccine made by US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech. A final analysis of the Phase 3 trial of the vaccine shows it was 95 percent effective in preventing infections. A wind-driven Bond Fire erupted in parts of Southern California late on Wednesday, and quickly spread into nearby hillsides. The Bond Fire nearly quadrupled in size in just a few hours, exploding to about 7,200 acres on Thursday afternoon, according to the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA). The huge fire forced over 25,000 people to evacuate, and injured two firefighters on the scene. Both firefighters have already been treated and transported to a hospital. Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics organizers plan to test all athletes every 96-120 hours during the games in 2021. Athletes will also need to provide a negative coronavirus test taken less than 72 hours before landing in Japan. The COVID-19 testing policy was part of the interim report released by the panel tasked with creating safety measures for the Tokyo Olympics after holding six meetings since September. The protocol for current visitors to Japan requires a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.
