Yesterday Asus confirmed that its next ROG Phone will be called ROG Phone 5 by skipping number 4, and today the company revealed that the ROG Phone 5 will be unveiled on March 10.
Asus has set up an event page on its website with a countdown to the launch event. It will start at 7 p.m. (UTC + 8) in Taipei and at 12 p.m. (UTC + 1) in Berlin. And if you’re in New York, it will start at 6 a.m. (UTC-5) on March 9.

The event page doesn’t disclose anything about the ROG Phone 5, but Geekbench has revealed that the smartphone will run Android 11 and have a Snapdragon 888 SoC at the helm with two RAM options – 8GB and 16GB.
The smartphone was also listed in TENAA’s database with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 5G support, and a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery, which 3C says will charge up to 65 W.
