Amitis Capital has joined Samara Alpha, bringing its team, products and infrastructure to the group as it develops its institutional digital assets platform.
NEW YORK and LONDON, April 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Amitis Capital, the asset management company born from the Amitis Family Office, announced the integration of the American company Samara Alpha into its activity. Samara Alpha’s team, products and operational infrastructure have been consolidated under Amitis Capital, with all operations continuing under the Amitis name.
Amitis Capital is the general partner of ACDAM – its flagship multi-manager digital asset fund, providing diversified exposure across liquid directional, market-neutral and venture capital strategies.
The integration marks a significant expansion of Amitis Capital’s digital asset capabilities and is part of a broader strategy to create a fully institutionalized allocation platform for the asset class – the infrastructure through which sophisticated capital will access digital assets at scale.
Monica Monajem, Founder and CEO of Amitis Capital, said:
“The ambition is to build for digital assets what Blackstone, KKR and Apollo built in private markets: a large-scale platform on which institutional allocators rely. Amitis was built with this purpose from day one, and the integration of Samara Alpha is a significant step toward this vision.
Founded in January 2023, Samara Alpha is a US-based institutional digital asset manager whose founding team pioneered tokenized private equity alongside KKR at Securitize Capital. With nearly three years of experience, its market-neutral, BTC-denominated fund of funds strategies have consistently ranked among BarclayHedge’s top ten multi-advisor funds and are shortlisted for Hedgeweek’s 2026 Fund of Funds of the Year, with winners announced in June.
These strategies and the team behind them are now part of Amitis Capital.
Adil Abdulali, former CIO of Samara Alpha and now CSO of Amitis Capital, said:
“This integration is a natural next step for Samara Alpha. From the outset, there has been strong alignment in terms of investment philosophy, standards and long-term ambition. Joining Amitis allows us to scale what we have built into a broader institutional platform, while continuing to deliver results for investors.
