A new Amazon AirPods Raffle is allegedly contacting Amazon users. However, this one might give you a headache if you click its link since rumors claimed that it is actually a scam.

Various sources explained that the new Amazon AirPods Raffle scam will send a text message to their unsuspecting victims. Once the users received the message, it will inform them that they are one of the lucky ones who won a free pair of the popular Apple AirPods.
The new scam’s main goal is to trick people that it is from Amazon.
On the other hand, security experts stated that the new malicious act not only offers AirPods but also other Apple gadgets such as the Apple Watch, which is one of its most commonly offered prizes.

According to ScreenRant’s latest report, Apple’s AirPods is still one of the most popular devices from the tech giant. People usually buy this wearable gadget so that they can listen to podcasts and music.
As of the moment, the latest Apple wireless earphones model is the high-end AirPods Max. However, some users don’t have the budget to purchase one since it is fairly expensive. Because of this, consumers still prefer buying the popular AirPods base model and AirPods Pro since they are much cheaper.

The Amazon website is seen on December 5, 2017 in Dandenong, Australia. Amazon has ended months of speculation by launching its local website overnight. The online retail giant has started taking orders and shipping products from its ‘fulfilment centre’ in Dandenong South, offering massive discounts on millions of items across more than 20 categories including electronics, toys, clothing, beauty and accessories.

Since BBB has now taken an action, this means that the new Amazon AirPods Raffle scam is a serious one. If you haven’t received it yet, then you should know that this new malicious activity involves sending a text message with a link.
The message will ask you to click the link and enter your Amazon account, as well as other sensitive details so that you will receive the free Apple devices offered. However, once you tap the link, you will be redirected to a phishing website.
