Since then, she has featured in many Chinese TV shows and events following her successful performances on the show.
Chi Pu’s first Chinese appearance after “Sisters Who Make Waves” was at the July 2023 Mango Festival held in Hunan province, during which she performed a duet version of the Chinese song “Summer Breeze” with Taiwanese-American singer Amber Liu.
The performance later landed on the list of most searched topics on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
She was later revealed as a permanent member of the Chinese food and travel show “A Delicious Guess”, which began airing every Friday last month.

“I was excited to enjoy beautiful scenery and delicious cuisines with the other cast members,” she said in one of the episodes of the series. “I learned more about the local culture and cuisine from the show.”
As the artist is active in both Vietnam and China, her schedule has taken her to travel between the two countries in the past.
Thanks to her hard work, she is now the Vietnamese artist with the most followers on Chinese social media platform Weibo, with around 350,000 followers and counting.
Compared to the humbling recognition she received during her first days in China, this is a huge achievement for the Vietnamese artist.
“I appreciate the career opportunities presented to me and the recognition from the public,” said Chi Pu. “My performance and language skills have improved, and I’ve also made more connections.”
Chi Pu, 30, is an actress and pop singer. She was honored on the Forbes list of Asia-Pacific’s 100 Most Influential Digital Stars in 2020.
She debuted in the Chinese market with her appearance on “Sisters Who Make Waves”, one of China’s most famous reality shows. Her musical performances throughout the show attracted a lot of attention from the local audience and she won sixth place at the end of the show.
The singer is reportedly currently in Vietnam before heading to China again to resume filming for “A Delicious Guess.”
